On February 2nd, dream pop connoisseur Mauro Remiddi will return with a new album as Porcelain Raft. It’s titled Microclimate and follows his 2013 full-length Permanent Signal and Pressed Flowers, an EP of lost songs which he released earlier this year. The new 10-track collection was recorded with Grizzly Bear and Beach House mixer/producer Chris Coady, who helped helm the 2015 Porcelain Raft EP, Half Awake.
As a first taste of Microclimate, Remiddi has let loose “Distant Shore”, a cut that gorgeously shimmers like a coastline glimpsed from the seas. Stream it below.
