Radiohead’s A Moon Shaped Pool: Where You Can Stream and Can’t Stream

on May 08, 2016, 7:10pm

Today, Radiohead released their ninth studio album A Moon Shaped Pool. The album is available to purchase digitally through the band’s website as well as iTunes. Pre-orders for physical versions of the album, which are due out June 17th, are also ongoing.

As for streaming, A Moon Shaped Pool is available on Apple MusicTIDAL, and Amazon.

While Spotify is streaming the album’s initial singles “Burn the Witch” and “Daydreaming”, the full album is not available on the platform. In a statement, a spokesperson for Spotify said, “We look forward to making the rest of A Moon Shaped Pool available on Spotify as soon as we can.” If you’ll recall, in 2013, Yorke famously compared Spotify to “the last desperate fart of a dying corpse” and called them “gatekeepers to the whole process.”

Google Play, which prematurely released A Moon Shaped Pool about an hour prior to its scheduled release, is also not streaming the album. Neither is SoundCloud.

Update: The album is now available on Google Music and Rhapsody.

Update: The album will finally be available on Spotify beginning June 17th.
