Thus far, every setlist of Radiohead’s A Moon Shaped Pool Tour has brought with it a major surprise. During their tour kick-off in Amsterdam last week, they opened the show by performing the first five tracks from their new album, and also dusted off “My Iron Lung” after seven years. The following night, they drastically mixed up their set by playing 10 different songs, and in Paris this week, they actually played “Creep” as well as “No Surprises” and “Creep”, none of which had been played live prior to 2009.
Last night, Radiohead returned to the Le Zenith in Paris. In addition to the tour debuts of “Climbing Up the Walls” and “Airbag”, the band performed Hail to the Thief favorite “2 + 2 = 5” for the first time in seven years. They also closed the show with “Karma Police” which included an audience-wide singalong.
“Climbing Up the Walls”:
Radiohead’s tour continues tomorrow night in London, and I’m really hoping I get to write an article about Jonny wailing on “Anyone Can Play Guitar”.
