Traditionally, the 1st anniversary is celebrated with gold, the 5th with sapphire, the 10th with diamond, and the 25th with silver. But do you know what type of stone is used to mark one’s 16th anniversary?

For Eminem, it’s brick.

To celebrate the 16th anniversary of The Marshall Mathers LP, Eminem is reissuing the album as a limited-edition cassette tape. But the real highlight is what comes packaged alongside the cassette: a t-shirt, dog tags, and an actual brick from the rapper’s childhood home in Detroit.

Famously featured in the artwork for The Marshall Mathers LP, Eminem’s home at 19946 Dresden Street was recently torn down by the city due to structural safety issues. Prior to its destruction, however, Eminem and his team were able to “salvage the brick and wood materials from the home” so that they could later be re-packaged for the reasonable cost of $350.00.

That’s right — the price tag for Eminem’s Marshall Mathers LP reissue is $350.00. If you prefer only the cassette and brick, the price is a more affordable $313.00.

Interested buyers can grab the limited-edition set here. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Marshall Mathers Foundation, which provides funds for organizations working with at-risk youth in Michigan and throughout the U.S.
