Pittsburgh’s Thrival Innovation + Music Festival has announced its 2016 lineup. Taking place September 20th – 24th, the festival features multiple days of immersive, innovation-focused programming, capped by a diverse two-day outdoor music festival.

CHVRCHES, Thievery Corporation, and The Chainsmokers top the music portion of the lineup. Other confirmed acts include Metric, Ty Dolla $ign, Hudson Mohawke, Lettuce, and Rubblebucket. Check out the complete lineup via the “pancake art” announcement video created by viral crew Dancakes.

“Inviting globally recognized music acts is just one facet of Thrival,” explained Executive Producer Dan Law in an issued statement. “Every year, we curate hundreds of thought leaders, speakers, and creatives from around the country to engage with thousands of attendees who are interested in cutting-edge technology and startups, the arts, new ideas — and pancake art.” Yes, Dancakes will be on hand at the festival conducting live demos.

The innovation presented at Thrival will focus on three themes: Lost and Found, AuthentiCity, and The Ripple Effect — which will feature an interdisciplinary mix of speakers, demos, panel discussions, and workshops all directed at addressing pressing challenges and opportunities facing our modern society, and especially re-emerging cities like Pittsburgh.

Tickets to Thrival are now on sale. At a sticker price of under $60, it’s refreshing to see Thrival bucking the trend of multi-hundred dollar tickets while still pulling down a quality lineup.
