Today, FKA twigs returns with her first piece of new material of 2016. “Good To Love”, which premiered this afternoon on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show, is a gorgeous number that sees twigs’ yearning to retrieve a love that she’s bestowed upon someone.
“When you give yourself away it always hurts too much, so I pray to get it back,” she sings over a fluid, beat-less backdrop, her vocals airy but full of ache. “Make my body come alive, I’ve got a right to hurt inside.”
