Believe it or not, Fox News hated Beyoncé’s Super Bowl halftime performance

on February 08, 2016, 2:10pm

The noted hip-hop haters overs at Fox News shockingly had issue with Beyoncé’s performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show last night. She fleshed out her politically charged rendition of new single “Formation” with references to the Black Panthers movement, as Beyoncé and her dancers wore Black Panther-style berets and raised their fists to make the black power salute. Prior to the performance, her dancers held up a sign with the slogan “Justice 4 Mario Woods”, a man who was was shot dead in December by police in San Francisco, this year’s Super Bowl host city.

Appearing on this morning’s episode of Fox & Friends, former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani blasted Beyoncé for using her performance “as a platform to attack police officers, who are the people that protect her and protect us and keep us alive.”

Giuliani added, “[The NFL should] just figure out what’s going on. I mean, this is a political position. She’s probably going to take advantage of it. You’re talking to Middle America when you have the Super Bowl. So you can have entertainment. Let’s have decent, wholesome entertainment and not use it as a platform to attack the people who risk their lives to save us.”

Meanwhile, Fox News contributor Michelle Malkin tweeted, “Cuz nothing brings us all together better than angry @Beyonce shaking her ass & shouting ‘Negro’ repeatedly.”
