School of Seven Bells share dreamy new song “On My Heart” — listen

on January 14, 2016, 3:20pm

Next month, School of Seven Bells will put out their final album, SVIIB. The group’s fourth full-length spans nine tracks and comprises material guitarist/producer Benjamin Curtis had recorded before his death in 2013.

In November, the band’s remaining member, Alejandra Deheza, shared the enchanting lead single “Open Your Eyes”. This week, another LP track has been unpacked: “On My Heart”, a synth-glossed cut led by Deheza’s featherlike vocals.

Despite its airy, upbeat ambiance, it lyrically revolves around a couple that’s struggling to stay together. “With me you’re lovesick,” Deheza sings, citing a lack of respect and trust in the relationship. Listen in below (via FADER).

SVIIB, one of this year’s most anticipated albums, is due out on February 26th (originally February 12th) through Vagrant.

SVIIB Tracklist:
01. Ablaze
02. On My Heart
03. Open Your Eyes
04. A Thousand Times More
05. Elias
06. Signals
07. Music Takes Me
08. Confusion
09. This Is Our Time
