For the longest time, the Grammy Awards have aired the Sunday after the Super Bowl. That will not be the case in 2016, however, as CBS will televise the annual music awards show on a Monday.
Variety reports the telecast is set for President’s Day, Monday, February 15th at 8:00 p.m. ET. The move is designed to help the Grammys stand out amid a very busy month, which also includes the Super Bowl, Valentine’s Day, the Academy Awards, and a new season of Walking Dead.
The event will once again take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
