Beets Don’t Kale My Vibe is the name of a new salad inspired by Kendrick Lamar

Kendrick Lamar will headline Sweetlife Festival in Maryland this May, but that’s not the only bill he’ll be on. He could be on your lunch receipt, too, as the company behind the event, sweetgreen, has unveiled a Kendrick-inspired salad called Beets Don’t Kale My Vibe.

The health food chain has been selling Beets Don’t Kale My Vibe t-shirts for years, but now they’ve gone and made a real meal of it. In addition to being sold at the festival, the salad will be served at all 29 sweetgreen restaurants across the North East throughout the month of May. What’s more, 10% of all sales of the salad go to FoodCorps, a charity aimed at bringing nutrition and real food back to schools.

The salad contains “shredded local kale, roasted chicken, goat cheese, organic wild rice, and flash roasted beets, which are marinated in balsamic vinegar, extra virgin olive oil, and a hint of honey.” Unfortunately, vinyl LPs are not included in your purchase, though sweetgreen promises your lunch will be “insanely good.”

For a chance to be able to eat a Beets Don’t Kale My Vibe salad while watching Kendrick actually perform “Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibe”, there are still eight days to enter our Sweetlife Festival giveaway.
