Deep In The Iris is the forthcoming album from dream pop trio Braids. The Montreal natives previously unveiled the excellent first single “Miniskirt”; now, they’ve returned with “Taste”.
Here, frontwoman Raphaelle Standell’s can be heard cooing rapturously, as though she’s been swept up in an all-consuming love affair. “I will give you my whole life!” she proclaims. Echoing her blissful reverie, the music itself is a lovely and lively swell of piano and skittering drums. Listen in below.
