Eden is the “largely autobiographical” film about the rise of the French electronic music scene in the 1990s, written by DJ Sven Love, co-founder of the duo Cheers. Along with scenes of the house parties and underground clubs that helped establish an entire sub-culture, the film features portrayals of several real-life DJs, most prominently Daft Punk’s own Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter.

With Eden screening this week at Sundance Film Festival, producers have unveiled a new trailer for the film. Watch below.

The real Daft Punk members signed off on the film and allowed the use of three of their songs in the soundtrack. “Without their consent, the project could not succeed,” Love told Tsugi.fr.
