Listen: Hundred Heads’ woozy new song “Undress”

on July 21, 2014, 3:45pm

Chicago-based five piece Hundred Heads make delicate, understated indie rock with silky guitars, airy horns, and the stirring harmonies of Grizzly Bear or Gorilla Manor-era Local Natives. On July 17th, the band self-released My Child’s Eyes a two song EP that best captures their burgeoning sound.

“Undress”, the first track off the EP, opens with a jazzy, clean-toned guitar chords and a subtle bassline. As the song begins to unfurl and frontman Will Wisniewski sings lines like, “I’ll undress because I’m able to in front of you”, horns and enveloping backing vocals come through for a pretty stunning finish.
