My Morning Jacket has grown to become synonymous with “exceptional live show” over the years. From bringing down stadiums to becoming instant festival highlights, Jim James and his Kentucky rockers have a reputation as one of the best touring bands around. Now, thanks to a new live concert archive series, you’ll be able to experience that performance prowess from the comfort of home.

Live Downloads recently made MMJ’s entire December 2nd, 2011, gig at San Francisco’s Bill Graham Civic Auditorium available for download in various digital formats. The show is available in MP3 ($9.99), FLAC/ALAC ($12.95), or FLAC-HD/ALAC-HD ($17.95), with $0.99 MP3s of individual tracks also available. According to a tweet from Live Downloads’ Brad Serling, this is just “the first in a new archive series” from the band, meaning more concerts should be made available for purchase soon (via Jambase).

Here’s hoping that their legendary 2008 Bonnaroo late-night performance makes it up sooner or later. For now, you can download the 12/02/11 gig at Live Downloads.

No doubt MMJ will play plenty of new shows when they release the follow-up to 2011’s Circuital later this year.
