Joy Division and New Order co-founder/bassist Peter Hook is in the midst of a nostalgic-heavy North American tour, with each stop featuring full performances of 1981’s Movement and 1983’s Power, Corruption & Lies. But last night, like J Mascis and Nile Rodgers before him, Hook made a slight detour to 30 Rock, where he sat in with The Roots for an entire episode of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

The full episode is available to replay, below. Watch as he and The Roots perform Joy Division’s  “Love Will Tear Us Apart” at 9:05 mark; New Order’s “Blue Monday” at the 16:05 mark; New Order’s “Bizarre Love Triangle” at 20:54 mark; and New Order’s “True Faith” at 33:40 mark.

We recently caught up with Hook, who shared his Top 5 Riotous Moments. Also, check out his upcoming tour schedule, below.
