Following last month’s slice of kaleidoscopic trippiness in the video for “Life’s a Beach”, Glasgow electro-folk rockers Django Django have unveiled an equally surreal visual effort for “Hand of Man”. Helmed by BAFTA-winning director and ex-Beta Band keyboardist John Maclean, brother of band drummer David Maclean, what begins as a groovy, retro-tinged performance clip from Londons famous Elephant And Castle pub is rudely interrupted by singer Vincent Neff’s daydreams of a bizarro picnic. Rock Lesson #32: Take power naps before any gig.
The group’s self-titled, Mercury Prize-nominated debut LP is out now via Because Music/Ribbon Music. Order your copy here.
