As any acclaimed Hollywood director will tell you, the most logical career move after delivering an in-depth and highly emotional rockumentary (Pearl Jam Twenty) is to let Matt Damon buy a zoo. Naturally, Cameron Crowe’s We Bought A Zoo, based on Benjamin Mee’s memoir, hits theaters two days before Christmas. The soundtrack, featuring a score and new songs from Sigur Rós’ frontman Jónsi, was released in stores today (via Columbia Records).
Now, we know that you must have so many burning questions nestled deep, down inside about their recent collaboration. We know we do. So, take a load off, sit back, maybe purchase a zoo or two, and watch a live stream of Crowe and Jónsi participating in a Q & A session hosted by WFUV’s Rita Houston. The event will take place at 7 pm ET in the Barnes and Noble located in NYC’s Union Square. Tune in below.
