A Cluster 1 Premiere!
On July 19th, Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter AM and London-based producer Shawn Lee teamed up to release “Dark Into Light”. The cut, clocking in at just under three-minutes, is a shimmering mixture of AM’s hauntingly beautiful falsetto and an upbeat, space-age composition from Lee, and the new video for the song is just as hypnotizing.
Directed by Christian Borstlap’s Part of a Bigger Plan agency and animated by motionographer Paul Postma, the clip is the closest you’ll get to a DUI without actually being under the influence. Set against a pitch-black background, the moving images on the screen depict a trip down the highway which includes minimalist interpretations of headlights, brakelights, car accidents, and broken down vehicles. It’s basically what happens when you take your Soma with a PBR. Experience it – without the side effects – above.
