Heres something to spend your iTunes gift cards on. Will.i.am the de facto leader of Los Angeles hip-pop outfit, The Black Eyed Peas has revealed that the groups new album will hit shelves and digital retailers on November 30th. The late November release date makes the album available just in time for the holiday shopping season and gives the world enough time to memorize all of the songs (whether they want to or not) before the Peas halftime performance at Super Bowl XLV.
The follow up to last years The E.N.D. (which stands for The Energy Never Dies) is ironically called The Beginning, and will most likely feature the same, bass-heavy, electronic feel of its predecessor, which has sold almost 3 million copies to date. In an interview with Daily Dips, will.i.am said that fellow Los Angelino, DJ Ammo, produced four of the albums 12 tracks. He also confirmed that European hitmaker David Guetta has producing credits on a couple of tracks and that he produced just three of the tracks himself.
In the meantime, heres a DJ Ammo remix of one of the Peas hit singles, Boom Boom Pow, to get you excited.
